In 1984, when I took admission in Nehru Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Defence Colony, New Delhi, India, my classes began on 16th August 1984, Monday. I still remember this clearly. So, I can say my journey in this profession started on 16th August.
And, on 16th August 2011, Anna Hazare started his another calling or mission to create healthy, wealthy and prosperous India — Corruption Free INDIA.
In the beginning of homeopathic education, we learn first paragraph or aphorism of homeopathic philosophy as mentioned by its inventor Dr. Hahnemann, who wrote following lines in his book of Organon:
“The physician’s high and only mission is to restore the sick to health, to cure, as it is termed.”
Since 1984, I am reading these lines and trying to understand and to follow it in my life and in my homeopathic clinical practice. We homeopathic doctors are familiar with these lines, and we know that how each word mentioned is important.
Similarly, I find the same line is true for Anna’s life, and he understood it at the very early stage of his life, and in last 3-4 decades he has set many examples of his mission — to restore the sick (corrupt system) to health (healthy system), to cure (finally prosperous India). Anna Hazare’s this mission actually is to cure this mankind from the disease of corruption.
And, “as it is termed” is the technical exploration in homeopathy, and “as it is termed” in Anna’s sense is the legal aspect of our nation’s law system. I feel, Anna understood it clearly, he knows what is written on the lines, and he knows what is hidden between the lines and words.
In last couple of days, media, television and newspapers have mentioned many success stories of Anna Hazare’s Mission.
In the last, I would say Anna Hazare is a true homeopathic physician who understands his mission clearly, and Anna knows how to remedy this disease with non-violent, non-crude, peaceful and sweet measures.
All luck to Anna Hazare and his team trying to make this healthy, wealthy and prosperous India.
